Acknowledgement, A Love Supreme Part 1. July 17, 2014 , Kyoichiro Morimura Quartet

リーダーの森村先生(ts) の口癖　 ”我々は毎年7月17日は Coltraneの追悼コンサートをやらなければならない”という言葉で最初に始まったのは 2006年７月17日でした。
今回は8回目の演奏になります（一回休）。drummerは４人目になりますが、Sax,  Piano、Bassは固定したメンバーでの演奏です。森村先生の危機感迫る、緊張感溢れる演奏は35年前と全く変わらない。

ピアノは相変わらず酔っぱらったマッコイタイナーのようですが、最初のイントロのところで私は既に指がつっておりました。イントロが予想外に長かった。それにしても難しい曲です。

Mr. Morimura, the leader said in this way. " We have to do the mourning concert of John Coltrane on July 17 every year. "　It is that I performed " A Love Supreme " first as a mourning concert of John Coltrane on July 17, 2006. 　It becomes the 8th trial this time. Mr. Morimura's performance is filled to the urgent feeling of tension.  Although it was a piano like " drunken McCoy"  the finger had already allured me in the place of the first intro. The cause is because the intro was performed for a long time unexpectedly. Even so, it is difficult music.
